Climate
In and around our Auvergne hamlet, at 440m.
In summer there are clear blue skies and high temperatures; cold in winter and often snowy, but a dry cold.
It is an area of seasonal contrasts with 4 definite seasons; not grey seasons, indistinguishable from one another.
Thunderstorms do occur, sometimes quite dramatically, usually after a spell of hot weather.
Mornings are sometimes misty, but this clears later in the day when the sun shines.
For information, the local commune has its own snowplough tractor, so being snowed-in is rare.
